Installation guidance
A factory-style finish starts with the correct fitment and careful installation. Professional installation is recommended, particularly where wiring, trim removal or exhaust hardware is involved.
Before you start
- Confirm your vehicle and switch-panel layout match the ordered kit.
- Check the supplied parts against the product listing and inspect for damage.
- Request the instructions for your exact platform from PB Valves. This overview does not replace the platform-specific wiring or mounting instructions.
- Follow the vehicle manufacturer’s procedures for electrical isolation, trim removal and safe lifting. Allow the exhaust to cool.
Installation overview
- Trial-fit the replacement module and confirm all original switches remain accessible.
- Fit the supplied valve hardware and controller according to the kit instructions.
- Route and secure the wiring away from heat, sharp edges, moving parts and pinch points. Use only the connections and power supply specified for your kit.
- Check that the valves move freely, then test the button and original vehicle functions before refitting trim.
- Confirm the illuminated state corresponds to open valves and the unlit state to closed valves. Check operation again after the vehicle is reassembled.
Pairing the button with the remote
- Once the button is plugged in, press and hold the valve button for 3 seconds to enter pairing mode.
- Press the OPEN button on the remote. You will hear 2 beeps.
- Press the CLOSE button on the remote. You will hear 3 beeps.
The pairing process is now complete.
Need help during fitting?
Stop if a connector, mounting point or instruction does not match your vehicle. Send your order number, vehicle details and clear photos to support before continuing. Do not force connectors or guess wiring connections.
